This week I received the very welcome news that, after much dedication, I had at last achieved BACP accreditation. It has been a number of years since I initially qualified as a counsellor. Since then, I have worked hard towards reaching this latest professional milestone. It has been a great challenge along the way, but one that I am proud to have taken on.
BACP accreditation formally recognises the attainment of high standards of knowledge, experience and development in counselling practice. I am confident that this standard of practice will enable me to better serve the needs of my clients now and in future. Current and prospective clients can therefore have even greater confidence when seeking therapy through Katy Berwick Counselling.
If yourself or anyone you know is interested in seeking counselling, please don’t hesitate to get in touch:
I’m really pleased to be able to offer more appointment times on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Friday mornings. If you, or someone you know, is looking for counselling then please get in touch via email or phone.
I was very excited to be asked to talk to Dr Phil on BBC Radio Bristol about eating disorders. You can listen by clicking the link below and playing 1 hour and 54 minutes into the programme
This month, I’ve been really thrilled by being given the opportunity to talk about my eating disorders work with Focus Counselling in Bath with the Bath Chronicle Weekend Magazine. Click on the link below to read the article in full, including two clients’ own eating disorder stories:
I provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to explore whatever brings you to counselling.
My practice is situated in the village of Box, Wiltshire, just outside of Bath. I offer a free initial consultation (lasting up to 30 mins), and this can be an opportunity for you to ask questions about how I work and what to expect.
